Thank You Miami Alumni Association

On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, 1969 Miami Alum, Jay and Linda Phillips, visited Lee Kornegay Intermediate and Charles A. Bejarano Elementary on behalf of the MHS Alumni Association, bearing gifts of thanks for the entire staff. Mr. Phillips described how many successful and important people are the product of the Miami Unified School District; CFO's, judges, lawyers and educators- just to name a few. He also discussed the lasting impact our educators and support staff have on our children and his gratitude for carrying on the tradition of excellence of his Alma mater.

Safety is No Accident!

Safety is No Accident, Over the Counter Medication Safety Class for Parents November 20th
There will be an Over the Counter Medication Safety Class for parents on Wednesday, November 20th at the Lee Kornegay middle school at 5:30 pm in the school library. The cost to enter is free of charge. Safety tips for locking up medications will be discussed. A Doctor of Pharmacy from the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center will be available to answer questions. The first ten parents at the door will get a prize. This class has been sponsored by the Parent Engagement Grant, Miami High School and the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center.
