Varsity Basketball Playoff Game, Miami Vandals vs Alchesay Falcons on February 15th at 6:00 PM at Findlay Toyota Event Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

The Vandals fall to the Falcons, the final score Miami 40, Alchesay 81.

Congratulation's to Coach Vargas, Staff and Varsity Boys on making it to the first round of the 2A State playoff finals. GREAT JOB VANDALS!

Miami Unified School District #40 is planning to hold school tomorrow February 21, 2019. Please watch the District website for any updated information. The District will also let parents know through the robocall system, website, and radio stations for any changes that may occur due to weather conditions.

The bus will not pick up students living in the Roosevelt area on the north side of the summit. All other buses will be running.

Due to weather conditions Miami Unified School District #40 will be releasing students at the following times. Notifications will be sent through the District’s robocall system, website, Facebook and local radio stations. The following are release times for the schools:
Dr. Charles A. Bejarano 1:00 p.m.
Lee Kornegay Intermediate School 1:00 p.m.
Miami Junior Senior High School 1:30 p.m.

ALERT! PLEASE BE ADVISED OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION RELEASED FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

At 12:36 p.m. the District was notified by the School Resource Officer that a possible dangerous incident was occurring at Aaron’s Rental and asked us to secure all school campus’ which was done immediately. Gila County Sheriff’s office, Globe PD, DPS, and the Gila County Task Force and K-9 units supported the effort to bring the situation under control. The District was notified at 1:27 p.m. to resume school as usual as the situation was brought under control. Schools were not in danger at any time.
